Top fund manager Lee Freeman-Shor gave 45 of the world’s top investors money to invest after one rule. They could only invest in their ten best ideas to make money.
The result: most of the ideas were poor but still they was ended up making money. How could they be wrong most of the time but still be profitable That is what this book is about.
Lee Freeman-Shor has written a great book about investing and trading and is revealing some of the most important characteristics that differ a poor investor from a great one.
Freeman-Shor writes about six types of investors. First up is how different investors handles losses:
- The Rabbits – those who dug their way into losses
- The Assassins – those who cut their losses short
- The Hunters – the ones who turns losses into profit
Then Freeman-Shor is describing how the investors is handeling winning trades:
- The Raiders – those who sells to early
- The Connoissseurs – the ones that is riding the winners
The book ”The Art of Execution” is well written, and easily read and gives the readers some good advice. This book for all kinds of investors, day traders or swing traders.
The book is full of concrete tips and examples and too often I recognized some of my own bad behaviour that led to unnecessary losses and giveaways to the market.
This book is found online and can be bought from different book stores.
I wrote a Swedish version of this review that can be found here at this website as well.
