Swedish Pension Fund AP3 Sells Off Most of Its EQT Stake
Sweden’s Third National Pension Fund (AP3) sold 4.3 million shares in private equity firm EQT in July, raising 1.5 billion SEK and cutting its holding by 87 percent, according to EFN, citing ownership data service Holdings’ monthly update.
The fund now holds just 645,000 shares in the company.
The July sale follows earlier disposals of 2.8 million shares in June and more than 700,000 shares in May, meaning AP3 has offloaded nearly its entire EQT position over the summer.
